The International Conference on Applied Psychology (ICAP) was organized for the first time from 22nd to 24th October 2014. The highlight of this event was the number of participants from leading universities of different countries like India, Australia, UK and USA. In total 350 participants was part of this thoughtful event. ICAP 2014 had an intriguing theme which was titled, “Psychology in Diverse Contexts; Research and Implications”. This theme consisted of innovative content for discussion, which included:

It was a learning experience for budding researchers, juniors and students to be a part of a global research forum, and a perfect platform to share their ideas with renowned professionals in the field of psychology. Objectives Of The Conference
The ICAP 2014 was the 16th International Conference based on Applied Psychology was mainly focused on bringing academic scientists and research professionals under one platform to share their practical experiences and research results in different areas of Applied Psychology. It is also considered one of the most motivating platforms where practitioners and educators take initiatives to discuss trending innovations, concerns, and practical challenges with solutions in the fields of Applied Psychology.
The Contributors
The event also gives a boost to authors in order to make the event more purposeful through encouraged submissions of their research abstracts and e-posters. These research papers included innumerable original and unpublished concepts, both proved and experimental and theoretical work in the field of Applied Psychology.
Conference Abstracts & Proceedings
All the submissions for the conference is reviewed by three expert reviewers and the post conference proceedings will be indexed in the International Science Index, and submitted to other index databases like Google. All the materials in the conference regarding the abstracts were provided to participants at the registration desk.
Selected Journal Issues
ICAP 2014 collaborated with the Special Journal Issue on Applied Psychology. High-impactful text papers are selected from the submitted papers for the special journal issues. The paper selection is done during the review and the conference presentation process. Submitted papers must not be given to any other journal or publication. The Guest Editors and the Editor-in-Chief review the papers to make a decision. Once the paper is selected, there is no charge for publishing it.
Submissions And Results
Submissions of oral and e-posters are reviewed and judged by the Organizing Committee. A confirmation email is sent to the participants regarding Abstract Submission. The participants can even view or edit abstract on their profile on waset.org. Any queries related to the confirmation email, can be sorted through waset.org support team.
Email notification regarding decisions on the event is mailed from the secretariat immediately after the deadlines are crossed and the final plan of the program will be updated on the official website, and even your waset.org profile. This includes notifications on instructions for presentations. The conference’s book of abstracts includes all selected submissions. The sole criteria behind the selection process are the quality of science and relevance of the theme in each submission given to the Scientific Organizing Committee for both oral and e-poster presentations.
